What is on the calendar template

Each month prints landscape on a single letter-size sheet, blank enough to plan on but with the dates you would otherwise have to look up already filled in. U.S. federal holidays are marked, along with a few dates teachers tend to plan around: Constitution Day, the Daylight Saving Time changes, Pi Day, Earth Day, and National Teacher Day. Weekends are shaded, the boxes are big enough to write in, and there is a notes line across the bottom.

Your district calendar still wins. Holidays on the page are national observances, not school closures, so pencil in your own teacher workdays, breaks, and testing windows once you print it.

Ways to use it

  • Tape it inside your planner or next to your desk as a month-at-a-glance view.
  • Post it by the door with project checkpoints and test dates so students can see what is coming.
  • Grab next month early and sketch your unit pacing before the month starts.
  • Print the full-year calendar at the start of the school year to map grading periods, breaks, and major projects in one place.
  • Send a copy home with major due dates so families are not caught off guard.
